“Religion of Peace” Continues Its Mission of Destruction in Egypt

As the Egyptian military continues it’s crack-down on the pro-Morsi Muslim Brotherhood, dozens of churches have been looted, torched and destroyed across the country – at the instigation of that Islamist organization ~

Predictably, the U.S. mainstream media isn’t paying much attention to the harsh persecution; this is from a Canadian site, CTV News [August 18th] – Egypt’s Islamists target Christian churches, schools as chaos spreads ~

In the four days since security forces cleared two sit-in camps by supporters of Egypt’s ousted president, Islamists [ i.e., Muslim Brotherhood ] have attacked dozens of Coptic churches along with homes and businesses owned by the Christian minority. The campaign of intimidation appears to be a warning to Christians outside Cairo to stand down from political activism.

Christians have long suffered from discrimination and violence in Muslim majority Egypt, where they make up 10 per cent of the population of 90 million. Attacks increased after the Islamists rose to power in the wake of the 2011 Arab Spring uprising that drove Hosni Mubarak from power, emboldening extremists. But Christians have come further under fire since President Mohammed Morsi was ousted on July 3, sparking a wave of Islamist anger led by Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood.

For some background on the current Egyptian crisis here’s a recent post by Michael Youssef; The Arrogance of a Democratic Administration and the Misguided Republican Senators. Youssef, Egyptian by birth, provides a helpful summary of what life has been like in that country for the past year or so ~

The Obama Administration has repeatedly said that democracy took hold in Egypt through a free and fair election. That is a mirage.
Our government has not only reinforced that mirage—as it is parroted by the Western media—it has created the clear impression that we are in lock step with the Muslim Brotherhood camp.

During the mere twelve-month reign of the Muslim Brotherhood, we watched:
• Churches were burnt
• Christians were beheaded in broad daylight
• Minorities, including Shiites, slaughtered in the streets
• Al Qaeda moving 3,000 of its Afghan fighters into the Sinai Desert
• Massive amounts of arms flowing into Egypt from Libya and Turkey
• The firing of non-Islamist government officials (highly qualified Muslims), who were then replaced by Muslim extremists and known terrorists
• US government funds landing in the laps of Muslim Brotherhood leaders

But the most egregious act of all was the silence of the White House and the State Department. They did not utter a mumbling word about any of those atrocities.

It is stunning. Why do our political elites seem so determined to take the side of evil in this conflict? Well, HERE are some very disturbing – yet very enlightening – videos detailing our own government’s cozy relationship with the Brothers.

CAIRO, Egypt — After torching a Franciscan school, Islamists paraded three nuns on the streets like “prisoners of war” before a Muslim woman offered them refuge. Two other women working at the school were sexually harassed and abused as they fought their way through a mob.

Is this the way of Allah? Well, it’s certainly the way of the Muslim Brotherhood. Their creed is hardly a summons to peace ~

Allah is our objective
The Prophet is our leader
Qur’an is our law
Jihad is our way
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

It’s the way of Barbarians.

Coptic Kristallnacht ~ Andrew Doran at National Review Online ~

The Muslim Brotherhood’s systematic and coordinated attacks against Christians in Egypt are reminiscent of Kristallnacht in Germany in 1938, when Nazi paramilitaries systematically vandalized Jewish homes, businesses, and synagogues and murdered scores of Jews in a disturbing foreshadowing of the fate of European Jews over the next few years.

The Brotherhood’s Currency of Blood ~

In the streets of Egyptian cities, Muslim Brotherhood activists achieved their highest hope. They died in their Jihad against the liberal opposition and the military, fighting against human rights for women and Christians, against multi-party rule, freedom of speech, museums, libraries and the future in the way that the armies of Allah have died for over a thousand years. Some died trying to kill Egyptian soldiers and police officers. Others were killed by their own people in order to maximize the death toll and spread shock and horror through the international community.
