Last Friday (May 26, 2017) the Religion of Peace struck again, slaughtering more Coptic Christians ~ Militants Attack Christians in Egypt, Killing at Least 28 ~

CAIRO (AP) — Masked militants riding in three SUVs opened fire Friday on a bus packed with Coptic Christians, including children, south of the Egyptian capital, killing at least 28 people and wounding 22, the Interior Ministry said.
 
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, the fourth to target Christians since December, but it bore the hallmarks of the Islamic State group. The attack came on the eve of the start of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

 
But wait – where are the heart-wrenching images flashed across our screens? Where are the teddy bear memorials? The candlelight vigils?
 
Unfortunately, in our superficial, celebrity-worshiping society, there’s a significant difference in news-worthiness between 22 dead young people attending the concert of a spoiled pop star, and 29 dead Egyptian Christians (including 10 children) going to pray at a monastery ~

The children were traveling with their parents to pray at an ancient monastery in central Egypt. Many suffered gunshot wounds to the head and chest, Bishop Makarios, a Coptic clergyman in Minya Province, told The Journal. Three children on board the bus reportedly survived.
 
 
Survivors claimed the killers left behind flyers about the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, which begins Friday evening. Local media also reported that the attackers were recording video themselves.

 
Meanwhile, in Dearborn, Michigan, more moderate Muslims are suing for $100 million over pork pepperoni.

A priest identified as Father Rashed, a chaplain for one of the groups comforting the survivors of the attack, said in an article in Breitbart News on Sunday that 10 masked Islamic State militants did not simply open fire on the bus on its way to the Monastery of Saint Samuel the Confessor.
 
Instead, the IS radicals apparently stopped the bus, made the victims walk out, and asked each of them, including the children, whether they were Christians.
 
Rashed explained that the victims “were asked to renounce their Christian faith and profess belief in Islam, but all of them — even the children — refused. Each was killed in cold blood with a gunshot to the head or the throat.”

Since Friday was the start of Muslims’ month of Ramadan (this year from sundown May 26 to sundown June 24), and killing infidels is apparently part of the “celebration,” we can expect a serious uptick in the usual carnage for another few weeks. Less that 24 hours after the carnage in Manchester, ISIS barbarians went on a rampage in Southeast Asia ~ Terrorists Linked with Islamic State Abduct Priest in Attack in Mindanao, Philippines ~

MINDANAO, Philippines (Morning Star News) – An ascendant terrorist group in the Philippines that has pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) yesterday wreaked violence on the island of Mindanao, kidnapping a catholic priest and 13 members of his parish.
 
Soldiers engaged in firefights with the Maute Group (MG) in Marawi City as its militants reportedly beheaded a police chief, kidnapped the priest and others, burned their cathedral and other buildings and raised the black flag of IS. Marawi is predominantly Muslim.
 
Authorities identified the abducted priest as the Rev. Teresito “Chito” Suganob, vicar-general of the prelature of Marawi, who was at St. Mary’s Cathedral when a group of armed men barged in and abducted him and 13 other parishioners. Reports indicated 10 worshippers and three other church workers were abducted.

Mindanao is the second largest island in the archipelago that is the Philippines. In a country that is still majority Christian (Roman Catholic), Mindanao is a sort of Muslim outpost. But of course, as is becoming clearer every day, Islam is simply incapable of peaceful “coexistence” with other faiths – even moderate elements within the faith are being persecuted ~

Clergymen have often become hostage victims of local terrorist groups operating in the southern Philippines. Last week Islamic extremists threatened Muslim preachers about to participate in an anti-terror summit organized by the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). An ARMM official received an email from a local terrorist group ordering her to discourage Muslim leaders from attending the summit. The summit ended peacefully on Friday (May 19).

Thousands have been forced to flee from their homes in this latest attack, prompting President Duterte to declare martial law and vow to rid the Philippines of ISIS ~

Soldiers and guerrillas set up rival checkpoints and roadblocks on routes in and around Marawi as civilians fled the city of 200,000 in droves, leaving behind what one official described as a ghost town.
 
Long queues of pickup trucks and jeeps crammed full of people and loaded with belongings crawled along roads into nearby towns as troops searched vehicles for weapons and bombs.
 
The military said it had rescued 120 people from a school and a hospital and was trying to isolate Maute fighters while awaiting reinforcements that were being blocked by rebels […]
 
“I made a projection, not a prediction, that one of these days the hardest things to deal with would be the arrival of ISIS,” Duterte said, referring to Islamic State.
 
“The government must put an end to this. I cannot gamble with ISIS because they are everywhere.”

 
Wouldn’t it be nice for concert goers in the UK – and the rest of the civilized world – if all of our leaders were as realistic and pro-active about this existential threat as Mr. Duterte?

The social-justice crowd are moving toward the same point as the Charlie Hebdo killers, and for the same reason: They’re too stupid to argue. For the Islamic imperialists, debate is a largely alien concept. For the left, it’s simply too much effort. As I said here many years ago, the great appeal of multiculturalism is that it absolves you from having to know anything about other cultures: If they’re all equally valid, what’s the point? Slap on the CO-EXIST bumper sticker and off you tootle. No need to worry whether the “C” might have a bit of a problem with some of the other letters, and that indeed, if not for the “C”, you wouldn’t need a bumper-sticker admonition to CO-EXIST in the first place. But, after two generations of social engineering, of the substitution of attitudes for education, it would require too much effort to equip yourself to argue against the difficult questions a man such as Robert Spencer raises. It’s literally easier to kill him.

The Manchester Arena suicide bomber who killed 22 people, including an eight-year-old girl, at an Ariana Grande concert on Monday night has been named as 22-year-old Salman Abedi.
 
It comes after the Islamic State terror group claimed responsibility for the bombing – the worst terrorist attack in the UK since the deaths of 56 people in the 7/7 London bombings of 2005.

Another known wolf. Bomber from the suburbs: British-born jihadi was the son of Libyan refugees, known to MI5, chanted in the street and had a ‘face of hate’ ~

• Neighbour claimed he was chanting Islamic prayers weeks before atrocity
• Also said to have just returned from three week trip to Libya before bombing
• Police probing his links with now-dead ISIS recruiter Raphael Hostey

 
Until we in the West understand that what we’re facing is a lethal clash of civilizations – two worldviews that simply cannot coexist despite the best of leftist intentions – the horror will go on.

The singer also criticized the Queen for allegedly failing to cancel a party Tuesday at Buckingham Palace, and called out Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham for referring to the terrorist attack as being the work of an “extremist,” and leaving it at that.
 
“An extreme what? An extreme rabbit?” he questioned.
 
“In modern Britain everyone seems petrified to officially say what we all say in private,” he concluded. “Politicians tell us they are unafraid, but they are never the victims. How easy to be unafraid when one is protected from the line of fire. The people have no such protections.”

American Maoists’ plans to transform the Deep South got a major boost on May 2, when Chokwe Antar Lumumba won the Democratic primary in the Jackson Mississippi mayoralty with 55% of the vote.

Lumumba owes his candidacy to the “Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO/OSCL),” the same group that helped propel his father to Jackson’s mayoral seat back in 2013. Dad died in 2014 and now junior is set to carry on his radical legacy.
 
FRSO/OSCL self-identifies as Maoist (Marxist-Leninist offshoot), just another unsavory flavor of soul-sucking totalitarianism ~

Freedom Road will use the capture of Jackson to spread revolutionary ideas through the Southern Black Belt. They will use the city’s money to pay themselves salaries as full time revolutionaries.
 
 
Maoist revolutionary strategy emphasizes setting up alternative governments to those already in existence. These pseudo states give the revolutionaries legitimacy and provide resources and money to spread insurrection through the surrounding countryside.

 
Jackson’s mayoral election is set for June 6th. According to Loudon, Lumumba is a shoe-in.

The question is, why in the world does Jackson want to be the next Venezuela? Do they really want an authoritarian government to own and run everything, and the people nothing? Is the thought of equal misery for all (and eating the family pet to keep from starving) really that attractive?
 
Or maybe they’re just clueless. It could just be that Mississippi public schools (and to be fair, most U.S. public schools for the last 50 years) failed to teach the blood-soaked history of godless communism ~
