When feelings overrule reality

Astonishing new video from the Family Policy Institute of Washington exposes the complete lack of critical thinking skills on today’s college campus (in this case, the University of Washington). Notice how many times they say “I feel like…” – Every choice, every decision, every opinion is based almost exclusively on feelings ~

If there is no objective reality why are these young people even wasting their time – not to mention huge amounts of money? And if feelings can override empirical facts what’s the point of learning anything?

What’s truly disconcerting, frightening actually, is that they absolutely can’t see the disconnect. If these young people are truly America’s future, in another decade or two, the country will be one giant loony bin…

How much further can this craziness go? Dr. Michael Brown speculates ~

“If perception is substituted for reality, there is no end
to the social madness that follows.”
