Wanted: Courageous pastors

In a recent video, Dr. Michael Brown wonders why don’t more pastors speak out on moral and cultural issues? I really wish he had produced this a couple months ago – and shared it with every church in America. Maybe the mid-term election results would have been somewhat different.

Same-sex “marriage,” transgenderism, abortion, euthanasia – on all these controversial issues, Canadian Christians will be made to conform – or else. An Ontario couple hoping to become foster parents was recently turned down because – they believe the Bible!

The couple shared the rejection letter in a Facebook post, describing how they were asked by a CAS adopting agent what church they attend and if they believe the Bible is true.

In the interview, the husband and wife were asked: “Are you one of those churches that still believes the Bible is true?”

The agent informed the couple that the Bible was written “thousands of years ago” and the world has since changed, the couple claims.

One News Now spoke with the president of Canada Christian College, Dr. Charles McVety, about this ludicrous affront to millions of Christians worldwide ~

Asked how Canada got to the point that the government can reject Christians on the basis of their faith, McVety says an apathetic Church led by cowardly leaders is to blame.

The same is happening in the U.S., he warns.
