Random links of interest, concern or curiosity from the past week or so, that deserve at least a SHORT mention:

If gays are so tolerant, why are they disrupting an Ex-‘gay’ conference? ~ “Coexistence?” Not so much ~

“(R)everse intolerance” is on display again this weekend in San Diego, with as many as 1,000 pro-LGBTQ protesters expected to converge on a Christian ex-“gay” conference designed to help and uplift men and woman seeking to overcome unwanted same-sex attraction.

The stated goal of at least some of the protesters is to disrupt the Restored Hope Network (RHN) conference, representing the largest coalition of ex-homosexual ministries in the world […]

“They [Restored Hope] are not welcome in this city,” said a gay rights activist organizing the protest, adopting the neo-totalitarian talking points of a movement so steeped in “gay pride” that it cannot tolerate dissent, or merely engage its foes with civility.

Proof That James Comey Misled the Senate Intelligence Committee ~ John Hinderaker, writing at Power Line blog, details Comey’s deceitful behavior ~

James Comey says there is a pattern to his dealings with presidents: he is an honest man who only needed to create memos to document his conversations with Donald Trump, because Trump is untruthful. But that isn’t the real pattern. The real pattern is that Comey is a snake in the grass who creates tendentious, self-serving memos that can later be used to cover his own rear end or to discredit presidents, but only if they are Republicans.

Trump Attorney on WaPo Report: ‘The Leak of This Information Is a Crime’ ~ Jay Sekulow talked to Fox News’s Sean Hannity last Wednesday night ~

“If this is true that five individuals inside of the United States government, whether it was the FBI or the Special Counsel’s office — wherever it came from — leaked information about the president of the United States to the Washington Post, information about a supposed investigation, that is a crime,” Sekulow (told Hannity) […]

“We can say it’s outrageous, we can say it’s irresponsible. The leak of this information is a crime. And I don’t care if you’re Republican, Democrat — it doesn’t matter. Why in the world would we allow, in the United States of America, for information like this to be released?”

Because the Left doesn’t care about truth or the rule of law anymore. They’re playing an unscrupulous game of “Get Trump” at all costs.

Government Owes Taxpayers Billions for Wasted Russia Investigation ~ This ongoing “collusion” farce is costing us plenty

Study finds surprising number of Americans think chocolate milk comes from brown cows ~ This explains a lot ~

The study found 48% of respondents weren’t sure where chocolate milk came from. Seven percent thought chocolate milk only comes from brown cows.
That adds up to about 16.4 million people, more than the population of Ohio.

CNN’s CEO on Funding Trump-Killing Play: ‘Not Going to Drop Our Support’ ~ I’m sure the “Communist News Network” would have been equally enthusiastic about a dramatic production depicting the mock assassination of Barack Obama ~

While Bank of America and Delta Airlines have pulled funding, CNN is digging in, refusing to abandon the brutal, Trump-killing play.

Perpetual Adolescence: When Coming of Age Doesn’t Come ~ The Peter Pan syndrome has infected an entire generation ~

Many youth are neither growing up nor assuming responsibility. America is facing a coming-of-age crisis that leaves young people ill-equipped to survive in a highly unstable world.

One in three of those between the ages of 18 and 34 live with their parents. Some 30 percent of all college students drop out after their first year. A recent test of college seniors found that one-third could not make cohesive arguments, think critically, or evaluate the quality of data.

Gong With the Wind: Olivia de Havilland, 100, becomes oldest ever Dame ~ Always a class act :)

Dame Olivia hit gold early in her career, with a role alongside Gable and Vivien Leigh in Gone with the Wind (1939).

The actress, then 23, picked up her first Oscar nomination for her performance as Melanie Hamilton, sister-in-law of protagonist Scarlett O’Hara played by Miss Leigh. She was also celebrated for her work with Errol Flynn on films including The Charge Of The Light Brigade (1936) and The Adventures Of Robin Hood (1938), with the pair hailed as a perfect on-screen match.
