Random links of interest, concern or curiosity from the past week or so, that deserve at least a SHORT mention:

Election Results Show There is No One ‘Hispanic’ Vote ~ Well that’s nice to know… Good grief! Maybe now the left can stop prejudging someone’s worldview based on their demographic!

About the only group of people who benefit from the belief that there is a unified Hispanic personae — politically or culturally — are those who work at groups like La Raza, which live off the fiction that it exists, or the hope that one will come into being.

Yale Prof Makes Test Optional So Students Can Cope With Trump Win ~ Like hothouse plants, these fragile children have lived in a reality-free bubble for so long that they’re unable to cope with any sort of adversity ~

A professor at Yale University has made an exam optional to allow his students to cope with their psychological devastation from Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election.

Fourth Day of Anti-Trump Protests Include Blocked Roads, Vandalism, Assault and More ~ An awful lot of “hate” emanating from people who claim to oppose that emotion…

Sorry, Trump Protestors: This Is What Democracy Looks Like ~ A former progressive shares some words of wisdom with her fellow millennials ~

A generation raised on participation trophies has changed the rules of the game in the tenth inning, deciding only some electoral results would be honored as valid because losing is not an option. Chants of “not my president” are now heard reverberating through urban centers, shouted by the same folks who just a few days ago were warning of civil unrest when Trump was defeated.

Ohio Voters Thoroughly Reject Anti-Fracking Bill of Rights for Sixth Consecutive Time ~ Not only did Ohio go solidly red last Tuesday, Youngstown told the anti-fracking crowd where to get off ~

Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF) and Frack Free Mahoning have now put this measure on the ballot six consecutive times – and taxpayers have had to foot the bill. In fact, the City of Youngstown taxpayers, prior to this most recent election, have already spent $80,000 just to put the measure of the ballot. Given that it will cost the city at least another $15,000 (and likely a lot more due to voter turnout of a presidential year) means that the City of Youngstown taxpayers have spent $95,000 minimum rejecting the so-called Community Bill of Rights.

Enough already.

What Does Trump’s Victory Mean for the Climate Change Controversy? ~ Calvin Beisner of The Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation is optimistic but says Trump will…

… need a lot of backbone himself but also that he’ll need majorities in both Senate and House to have it, too. For them to have backbone, they’ll have to believe their constituents will support them. And for their constituents to support them, their constituents will have to know the facts and be ready and able to make their voices heard.

Grubhub CEO Suggests Trump-Supporting Employees Should Quit ~ Seriously? Why are Leftists so darn intolerant? I’ve never used Grubhub, an online meal-delivery service, but if you do – and you like the First Amendment – now would be a good time to find another option. After all, if that’s their corporate position, how safe is your food once they find out you voted for Trump?

How Left-Wing Billionaire George Soros Manipulated the 2016 Election ~

While left-wing billionaire George Soros wasn’t able to tip the presidential election to Hillary Clinton, he made a significant difference in other ways this election season.

But this is excellent. Steyer Continues Political Losing Streak in 2016 ~ Always good to see one of Soros’ minions foiled ~

Tom Steyer extended his losing streak on Tuesday, as Republicans prevailed in a majority of federal contests in which the billionaire Democrat’s political groups attempted to sway the outcomes.

The foreign countries’ dilemma: They bet all on Hillary ~

There’s wailing and gnashing of teeth abroad: Most foreign countries failed to hedge their bets, and now they have to face what they thought was impossible.

Not to mention they want their $$$ back!
