20th Century Islam – Before the Burkini

Sixty years ago the world was a much safer place. After the Allies beat back the Nazis and Imperial Japan in World War II, the western worldview was gradually spreading to previously troubled spots across the globe. Relative peace and prosperity were breaking out. Once again humans were actually being fruitful and multiplying.
 
Satan wasn’t happy. Peaceful, productive nations do not serve his purposes. And although he was still quite active in the Soviet Union and other communist hellholes at the time, much more chaos was clearly called for.
 
Surveying the Arab world, he realized there was still much untapped potential for murder, mayhem and wanton destruction. But speed was of the essence, they were rapidly becoming much too westernized…

Time to once again incite the followers of Mohammed to jihad. Characteristically, with a brilliantly demonic twist, he inspired them to denounce Western nations as “Satan.” The Religion-of-Peace responded with unbridled enthusiasm; terrorist attacks are now a weekly occurrence in the West, and the Middle East and north Africa are awash in a sea of blood and violence.
 
It’s worth a quick trip down memory lane to the 60s and 70s to recall what life in Muslim-majority countries looked like before they began the totalitarian march back to the 14th century, before the darkness descended again, before the burkini ~
