Unions Kick it up a Notch

Michelle Malkin reported yesterday in Big Labor Watch: “Open season” on Verizon, about the escalting union “negotiations” in the Verizon strike:

Union thugs are up to their old tricks — sabotage, deceit, intimidation, feces-hurling 😯 , you name it — as a labor dispute between the Communications Workers of America and Verizon festers.

…the desperation is clear from a message left on a phone hotline set up for members of a union chapter in Brooklyn. The voice of a representative encourages members to deal harshly with “managers and scabs” ~

“It is open season. Follow them safely, but when you get to a location, torture them, torture them with chants and noise. Be so loud that they can’t concentrate and wish they never got out of bed,” says the recorded voice.

I guess we shouldn’t be too shocked when this happens then:

From MRCtv: John King was shot in the arm last week when he surprised a man trying to slash the tires on the truck at his Lambertville, MI home.The word “scab” was also scrawled on the side. King says he became suspicious when he saw an outside security light outside go on. When he stepped out of his front door, the man fired one shot and ran off.

King is the owner of the largest non-union electrical contracting company the Toledo, Ohio area. And it’s far from the first time the union has attempted to “negotiate” with him as RedState reports.

Well, so much for that whole “civility” thing.

~~~~~~~~~~
A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow
the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy.
While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once
they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to
the first external or internal invader.”
~ Samuel Adams ~
