Pursuing justice in the IRS Scandal

As recently as last week, President Obama was brushing off the IRS scandal as something that may not have even occurred 😯 — but if it did, it was due to… insufficient funding (Because to progressives of course, more taxpayer money is always the answer to every question.) ~ Obama Lies To Jon Stewart’s Face About The IRS.

Jay Sekulow of ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) spent today testifying to the truth (something the president clearly avoids as much as possible!) ~

As Sekulow explains, the reality – Obama’s prevarication notwithstanding – is that the IRS persecuted conservative Americans by deliberately targeting them for audits. It’s demonstrably true that ~

• a new report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) revealed that Americans are still vulnerable to IRS audits based on their political beliefs

• the DOJ and FBI colluded with the IRS

• The GAO says that IRS procedures and protocol are still susceptible to bias and corruption

• Donor lists collected by the IRS were used to target conservatives for audits

• the IRS continues to deceive the public about the extent of its misconduct and maintains that deception to this day

Thank-you Jay. I applaud ACLJ, and support them financially when I can. They’re doing yeoman’s work.
But it’s been over four years. And with this corrupt regime in charge, a complicit media, and so few Republicans with the stomach to fight on the side of righteousness, I’m not holding out much hope…
