Random links of interest, concern or curiosity from the past week or so, that deserve at least a SHORT mention:

Agenda Exposed: Christian Students Rejected, Failed and Expelled for Faith in Jesus ~ Troubling trend at public colleges and universities that – given our current crisis of morality – will only get worse ~

The rise of anti-Christian discrimination on public university campuses is astounding in its breadth and shocking in its shamelessness […]

Christians students now face their applications being rejected because they let it slip out that they are a person of faith, receiving failing grades for daring to allow their religious beliefs to outweigh the omniscience of the educational elites, or being outright expelled for having the audacity to live in accordance with their faith.

The latest crop of rotten fruit from the Arab Spring ~
Islamic State in Libya puts up billboards ordering women to be fully veiled

Islamic State flogs, puts in metal cages 94 who violated Ramadan fast
Are Nigeria’s ‘Middle Belt’ Christians victims of ethnic cleansing?

Italians set fire to beds in angry anti-immigrant protests ~ The North African refugee invasion of Europe continues. Native Europeans are outraged; ruling class does nothing.

Sanctity of Trees, or Sanctity of Human Life? ~ Ken Ham addresses the sadly, skewed priorities of contemporary culture ~

By and large I find that many people are more concerned about an insect, a tree, a frog, a bat, a clover, and so on, than they are about the sanctity of human life! The government enacts legislation to protect plants and all sorts of animals, but then legalizes the murdering of millions of children. What hypocrisy!

Clintons Facilitated Donor’s Haiti Project that Defrauded U.S. Out of Millions ~ Good grief! Yet another Clinton scandal that the mainstream media will totally ignore ~

Miami businessman Claudio Osorio, who is currently serving 12 years in federal prison on fraud charges, leveraged his relationship with Bill and Hillary Clinton to help his company InnoVida obtain a $10 million loan from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) for a Haiti housing project in 2010.[…]

InnoVida was supposed to use the funding to build houses in Haiti after the earthquake, but it defaulted on the loan and the homes were never built.

Oklahoma black man leads presidential protest by waving Confederate Flag ~ No way! Can’t be true! It doesn’t fit the race-hustlers narrative (w/video) ~

Supporters want to let the President know the Confederate flag, they say, stands for heritage, not hate. The organizer of the event is someone you might not expect to see standing behind this cause.

“We don’t believe it’s a symbol of racism,” Andrew Duncomb, an organizer in Oklahoma City who calls himself “the Black Rebel” says.

Planned Parenthood and the Jesuits ~ Are the Jesuits even Catholic anymore? Seriously. In their zealous pursuit of knowledge, they’ve totally lost their ability for discernment.

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.
For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”

~ 1 Corinthians: 3-19

This guy gets it ~
‘The devil is taking control’: State senator on marriage ruling ~

Sen. Lee Bright of Spartanburg, SC said in a passionate speech last Monday that instead of discussing a flag, the state ought to be discussing the U.S. Supreme Court June 26 ruling that forced states to offer marriage licenses to homosexual partners.

“This country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles,” he said, “and they are under assault by the men in black robes who were not elected by you. We better make a stand. What I’d like to see is these folks that are working in the position of dealing with these marriage certificates not to have to betray their faith or have to compromise their faith in order to subject themselves to the tyranny of five judges. What we need to do is to debate this on the floor.”

The Ignored Science On Lesbianism ~ Interesting information about female same-sex attraction that LGBT activists have managed to suppress; doesn’t support the “born-that-way” narrative.

Iran-Kerry and A World Turned Upside Down ~ John F. Di Leo, writing at Illinois Review, with an excellent analysis of the Iranian treaty travesty from a historical perspective (from Carter to Obama).

And… my favorite tweet-of-the-week ~
