Bring the Lamb back to school

oldtime-schoolhouseThe latest argument for the homeschooling movement comes to us from the “Nutmeg State,” where a high school teacher was suspended last week after reading a poem that graphically described a gay sex encounter to his advanced English class. This story is from the Blaze who says that the poem in question (“Please Master” by 60’s radical Allen Ginsberg) is so offensive they chose not to print any of it.
(“Google” it if you must. I’m not even linking to it.)

How have we allowed public schools to degenerate to the point where teachers are actually reading homosexual pornography to their students? As if that dreck is somehow comparable to the works of a Keats, Wordsworth, T.S. Eliot or William Shakespeare?

We can trace the steady descent into perversion back to 1962. That’s the year that the Supreme Court struck down school prayer. Here’s a little rhyme that cleverly explains how it all went wrong.

This poem shouldn’t offend anyone – except maybe athiests ~

Mary had a little lamb,
His fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
The lamb was sure to go.

He followed her to school one day,
Which was against the rules.
He made the children laugh and play,
To have a lamb at school.

And then the rules changed one day,
Illegal it became;
To bring the Lamb of god to school,
Or even speak His name.

Everyday got worse and worse,
And days turned into years.
Instead of hearing children laugh,
We heard gun shots and tears.

What must we do to stop the crime,
That’s in our schools today?
Let’s let the Lamb come back to school,
And teach our kids to pray!

Jesus-withlittlekids
Amen.
