A “royal” call to end Christian persecution

When it comes to favorite causes, Prince Charles is primarily known for his efforts to save the planet from humanity, so it’s genuinely refreshing to see him advocate for the lives of his fellow Christians (“Defender of the Faith”?) for a change!

From Breitbart London: Prince Charles Calls on Muslim Leaders to End Persecution of Christians ~

“We have learnt with mounting despair of the expulsion of Christians, Muslims and Yazidis from towns and cities that their ancestors have occupied for centuries.

“Sadly, incidents of violence in Iraq and Syria are not isolated. They are found throughout some, though not all, of the Middle East; in some African nations; and in many countries across Asia” […]

He also said that it was an “indescribable tragedy” that Christianity is now threatened in an area where Christians have lived for 2,000 years, especially as they had previously live in peace alongside Muslims.

The Prince added that people of faith play a “crucial role” in ensuring a free society in Britain and around the world.

Thank-you Charlie! You’re still looking at the world through utopian glasses when it comes to peaceful “coexistence,” but it’s a good start.
