A veteran US law-enforcement official has filed a blockbuster discrimination lawsuit against Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, charging she pushed him aside to make way for a less-qualified woman who’s “enjoyed a long-standing relationship” with the anti-terror chief.

The court papers also allege that Suzanne Barr, Napolitano’s chief of staff at Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has engaged in “numerous” acts of “sexually offensive behavior” intended to “humiliate and intimidate male employees.

Now that Obama’s Joe Soptic super-PAC ad has been thoroughly debunked for the pathetic fiction that it was, let’s hear from some real people whose futures have been nearly ruined by his discriminatory redistributive policies; the Delphi employees who got shafted in the GM bailout ~
 

 

Michelle Malkin has more ~ Meet the real workers Obama screwed over:

As Washington rushed to nationalize the U.S. auto industry with $80 billion in taxpayer “rescue” funds and avoid contested court termination proceedings, the White House auto team and the Treasury Department schemed with Big Labor bosses to preserve UAW members’ costly pension funds by shafting their nonunion counterparts.
 
In addition, the nonunion pensioners lost all of their health and life insurance benefits. The abused workers — most from hard-hit northeast Ohio, Michigan and neighboring states — had devoted decades of their lives as secretaries, technicians, engineers and sales employees at Delphi/GM. Some workers have watched up to 70 percent of their pensions vanish.

 

President Obama’s ability to dupe the masses with his captivating oratory is masterful. His deceptive rhetoric, which always sounds so appealing, rarely matches the reality of his actions. Recall this snippet from his 2012 State of the Union address on January 14th ~

“Millions of Americans who work hard and play by the rules every day deserve a government and a financial system that do the same. It’s time to apply the same rules from top to bottom: No bailouts, no handouts, and no copouts.
An America built to last insists on responsibility from everybody.“

Obama: a Candidate Who Stands for an Intrinsic Evil?

Good news, it doesn’t appear that the Catholic church will be backing down from the religious freedom fight any time soon. National Review Online reports on comments made by Baltimore archbishop William E. Lori this week, from the Knights of Columbus annual convention in Anaheim, California ~

“The question (for Catholic voters) to ask is this: Are any of the candidates of either party, or independents, standing for something that is intrinsically evil, evil no matter what the circumstances? If that’s the case, a Catholic, regardless of his party affiliation, shouldn’t be voting for such a person.”

 
A message for the Knights from the Vatican reinforced the Church’s position:

At a time when concerted efforts are being made to redefine and restrict the exercise of the right to religious freedom, the Knights of Columbus have worked tirelessly to help the Catholic community recognize and respond to the unprecedented gravity of these new threats to the Church’s liberty and public moral witness…
 
…The challenges of the present moment are in fact yet another reminder of the decisive importance of the Catholic laity for the advancement of the Church’s mission in today’s rapidly changing social context.

 
Appropriately, the theme for this year’s three-day Knights Convention is religious liberty. Representing Canada was Archbishop Richard Smith of Edmonton who had the following remarks for attendees ~

“Our call at this moment is to affirm the right of religion to be active in the public square . . . to defend the freedom of people of faith and of religious institutions to act in accordance with their beliefs and nature; to maintain healthy church state relations; to understand conscience correctly and to form it according to objective truth; and to protect the right to conscientious objection. Believers are summoned now to stand up for their faith, even if they must suffer for doing so.”

 
Although it’s regrettable that the Catholic Church didn’t recognize the intrinsic evil in then-candidate Obama’s support of partial-birth abortion four years ago, better late than never. Let’s hope the message gets through to the people in the pews in time for November’s election.

Don’t you just love Allen West?

This video is a couple months old but I just ran across it the other day. Remember back in April when Rep. Allen West was sharply rebuked by the Left for his assertion that there were dozens of communists in the U.S. House of Representatives?
This was his response, apparently at a press conference, to the backlash ~ No regrets baby! ~
 

 
As he rightly says, the progressives of today are the philosophical descendants of last century’s communists, heirs to Woodrow Wilson’s ideology of social and economic justice.

It’s very interesting the people on the left are not debating the point I made, they just don’t like the fact that it was made…
 
Do your research. Understand the ideologies.
This is a choice between two very clear futures for the United States of America.

 
Watching this I struck by his confidence and conviction and found myself thinking; wouldn’t it be awesome if Rep.West could stand in for Romney in the upcoming presidential debates?

Today’s leftists, socialists and progressives would bristle at the suggestion that their agenda differs little from those of Nazi, Soviet and Maoist mass murderers. One does not have to be in favor of death camps or wars of conquest to be a tyrant. The only requirement is that one has to believe in the primacy of the state over individual rights.

The real “Hood,” Who Wants to Burn Down the Burbs

Without much hope and change to showcase after three and a half years, Obama’s only re-election campaign option is to go negative on the opposition. So Romney has suddenly been tagged with the label “Romneyhood,” a nasty villain who takes money from the poor to give to the rich – haha.
 
The name calling is just another smokescreen for the administration’s real intentions. In truth, it’s the president and his minions who have their sights set directly on the middle class. Stanley Kurtz explains why and how in “Burn Down the Suburbs?” at National Review Online:

With suburban voters set to be the swing constituency of the 2012 election, the administration’s plans for this segment of the electorate deserve scrutiny. Obama is a longtime supporter of “regionalism,” the idea that the suburbs should be folded into the cities, merging schools, housing, transportation, and above all taxation. To this end, the president has already put programs in place designed to push the country toward a sweeping social transformation in a possible second term. The goal: income equalization via a massive redistribution of suburban tax money to the cities.
 
Obama’s plans to undercut the political and economic independence of America’s suburbs reach back decades. The community organizers who trained him in the mid-1980s blamed the plight of cities on taxpayer “flight” to suburbia.

 
Right. The flight to suburbia had nothing to do with the destructive policies administered by the Democrats who were in charge of all those cities.
 
Now it’s time for the Alinskyites to punish the bourgeois for daring to desire a safer, more prosperous life in the burbs. Plans for retribution include the following:

One approach is to force suburban residents into densely packed cities by blocking development on the outskirts of metropolitan areas, and by discouraging driving with a blizzard of taxes, fees, and regulations.
Step two is to move the poor out of cities by imposing low-income-housing quotas on development in middle-class suburbs.
Step three is to export the controversial “regional tax-base sharing” scheme currently in place in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area to the rest of the country. Under this program, a portion of suburban tax money flows into a common regional pot, which is then effectively redistributed to urban, and a few less well-off “inner-ring” suburban, municipalities.
 

The Obama administration, stocked with “regionalist” appointees (like Mike Kruglik and his “Building One America” organization), has been advancing this ambitious plan quietly for the past four years. Efforts to discourage driving and to press development into densely packed cities are justified by reference to fears of global warming. Leaders of the crusade against “sprawl” very consciously use environmental concerns as a cover for their redistributive schemes.
 
The centerpiece of the Obama administration’s anti-suburban plans is a little-known and seemingly modest program called the Sustainable Communities Initiative. The “regional planning grants” funded under this initiative — many of them in battleground states like Florida, Virginia, and Ohio — are set to recommend redistributive policies, as well as transportation and development plans, designed to undercut America’s suburbs.
 
Few have noticed this because the program’s goals are muffled in the impenetrable jargon of “sustainability,” while its recommendations are to be unveiled only in a possible second Obama term.

 
Obama and his merry band of progressives are famous for projecting their nefarious motives onto their opponents. Considering this plot to destroy suburbia, who are the real villains?

Now Islam, on the other hand, has historically shown a definite proclivity for violence that continues to manifest itself in the 21st century.
 
The Religion of Peace website keeps track of annual Ramadan violence. Barely three weeks into Ramadan 2012, nearly 700 people have been killed in the name of Islam:
 

 
Just last month United Muslim Nations International published a 23-page booklet titled; “The Global Islamic Civilization: The Power of a Nation Revived,” outlining their plan to “wipe Christianity from face of earth.” Included, amongst other peaceful proclamations, are the following from Sheik Farook al-Mohammedi:

“Christianity should be destroyed and wiped from the face of the earth. It is an evil demonic and Anti-Christ 😯 system, (Who knew?!) all Christians are in complete Ignorance.”
 
“Islamic Power has returned upon the face of the earth and the Revived Global Caliphate has set eyes on the West to once and for all rid the world of Christianity and there is nothing you can do about it.”
 
“None will resist, you will submit! Islam will conquer the hearts of all Christendom, this is a definite reality. Every government has surrendered to the Revived Global Caliphate and those nations who resist will be placed under a police state within their realm.”

 
Still waiting for universal condemnation of the Sheik’s rants from the moderate, non-violent Muslim community… zzzzzzzzzzz.

Batman 3: Going there and Batman Battles The Politics Of Resentment ~
Seen the new Batman movie yet? I was planning to avoid it, mainly because each sequel to the series seems to get darker and more violent. But according to these two reviews, there’s an important redeeming quality to the film. It offers a stark picture of the ugly results of redistribution; equal misery for all.

“The Dark Knight Rises”—deserves to be loudly celebrated as a masterful and stunningly honest work of Western popular culture.
 
The movie is a bold apologia for free-market capitalism; a graphic depiction of the tyranny and violence inherent in every radical leftist movement from the French Revolution to Occupy Wall Street; and a tribute to those who find redemption in the harsh circumstances of their lives rather than allow those circumstances to mire them in resentment.

Report: Illegal Aliens Released by Federal Gov’t Committed 19 Murders, 142 Sex Crimes ~ Are these the “Dreamers” the progressives want America to embrace? Sounds more like a national nightmare.

Of those released, CRS found that about 17% of illegal and criminal immigrants, or 26,412, were rearrested on criminal charges. These 26,412 recidivists accounted for a total of 42,827 arrests and 57,763 alleged violations.

The “Other Hitler”

Here’s one of those truth is stranger than fiction stories, as reported by the U.K. Daily Mail ~
 
Seems Das Führer had a nephew, one William Patrick Hitler, who, determined to be part of the fight against his infamous uncle and the Nazis, actually served three years in the U.S. navy.
 
War Letters: Extraordinary Correspondence from American Wars, a book written by Andrew Carroll (pub.2002) includes an amazing letter that William Hitler penned to President Franklin D. Roosevelt in March, 1942 ~

All my relatives and friends soon will be marching for freedom and decency under the Stars and Stripes. For this reason, Mr. President, I am respectfully submitting this petition to you to enquire as to whether I may be allowed to join them in their struggle against tyranny and oppression?

 

 
The “Other Hitler’s” tale is a fascinating one:

William Patrick, who later changed his last name to Stuart-Houston, was the son of Adolf’s half-brother Alois and first wife Bridget Dowling. He was born in Liverpool, England on March 12, 1911.
 
Three years later, Alois left his wife and son and took off for Europe. He remarried, becoming a bigamist, but kept in contact with his first wife. He settled in Germany asking Bridget to send William for a visit. She agreed in 1929 when William was 18.
 
William had a half-brother Heinz Hitler – however he became a committed Nazi (and was later tortured to death by the Soviets).
In 1933, William found himself in Nazi Germany where he planned to cash in on his uncle’s rise to political fame. He badgered his uncle for a better job than the one he was given working in a bank.
 
In 1938, Adolf offered his nephew a high-powered position within his organization but William fled to Britain, as he was suspicious that it was a trap.
 
He escaped from Germany in 1939 with the help of a British spy and quickly left for the U.S. with his mother.

 
Resolved to enlist in the Allied cause, William first contacted the U.S. army who rejected him due to his unfortunate family connections. He then wrote directly to FDR:

I am the nephew and only descendant of the ill-famed Chancellor and Leader of Germany who today so despotically seeks to enslave the free and Christian peoples of the globe.
 
Under your masterful leadership men of all creeds and nationalities are waging desperate war to determine, in the last analysis, whether they shall finally serve and live an ethical society under God or become enslaved by a devilish and pagan regime.
 
Everybody in the world today must answer to himself which cause they will serve. To free people of deep religious feeling there can be but one answer and one choice, that will sustain them always and to the bitter end.

 
William’s letter ultimately reached then FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover who approved Hitler for naval service.

I was struck by William’s confident assumption that FDR and he both clearly understood the nature of the conflict. That they both realized the Nazis represented a direct threat to Western civilization and all that it stands for. That it was so starkly a war between good; the Christian peoples of the globe, and evil; a devilish and pagan regime.

But then, of course, this was long before we all became mezmerized and befuddled by multi-culturalism.
 
Thank God that the “Other Hitler’s” worldview was still firmly shared by the Allies 60 years ago, or World War II may have had a much different outcome.
