Maybe the fact that I’m not Catholic explains why I’ve never heard of Father Shenan Boquet, but this guy is awesome! Why can’t pastors of all Christian denominations return to foundational Truth, and reorient the mind and the heart back to the will of God? Become the arbiters of Truth that they were intended to be?

Pelosi’s latest encyclical
Popes frequently issue letters to bishops called “encylicals,” which are essentially position papers establishing or clarifying Catholic doctrine on particular issues of the day. These papal pronouncements address timely matters affecting the general welfare of the Church and are intended to guide the bishops in pastoring their flocks.
In recent years House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (CA-D) has generously taken it upon herself to assist Rome in this particular function. Her most recent proclamation, “Gay ‘marriage’ is ‘consistent’ with Catholic teaching,” is completely at odds with Scripture – Catholic or otherwise – but why let a little thing like God’s Word get in the way of amoral, leftist progress? ~
The House Minority Leader explained that same-sex marriage “is important,” and that her grandchildren “have been hearing this [message supporting gay ‘marriage’] their whole life” because “they go to Catholic school.” 😯
In perhaps the most controversial of her statements, Pelosi said, matter-of-factly, that same-sex ‘marriage’ “is consistent with the dignity and worth we [Catholics] attribute to every person.”
Responding to an assertion from Catholic presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (FL-R) that continual demonization of traditional Christians could get the Catechism of the Catholic Church branded as “hate speech.” ~
Pelosi contrasted what she characterized as Sen. Rubio’s “polarizing” and “unfortunate” Catholicism with her own “mainstream Christian thinking.”
She summarized Catholic catechism as teaching support of gay ‘marriage’. “The fact is, what we’re taught was to respect people in our faith.” Pelosi went on to criticize Rubio’s opposition to gay ‘marriage’, explaining, “To say that [homosexual ‘marriage’] endangers mainstream Christian thinking is so completely wrong.”
Pelosi added, “I don’t even think that Pope Francis would subscribe to what Sen. Marco Rubio said” supporting traditional marriage.
Now we’d like to think the Vatican would admonish, censor, or possibly even excommunicate San Fran Gran Nan for defying God and reality, and for attempting to rewrite Catholic doctrine, but don’t hold your breath. Consider the fate of the courageous Cardinal Burke.
Conservative Burke has frequently been at odds with Pope Francis over various issues. Last year he (rightly!) criticized President Obama for having policies that “have become progressively more hostile toward Christian civilization” ~
“He appears to be a totally secularized man who aggressively promotes anti-life and anti-family policies,” he said in a March interview published in LifeSiteNews.com. “Now he wants to restrict the exercise of the freedom of religion to freedom of worship.”
Burke has also contended that priests should deny communion to Catholic politicians who support such issues as abortion and same-sex marriage.
Sadly, for honestly speaking Truth-to-Vatican power, Burke was demoted from his position as head of the Vatican’s Supreme Court last year.

Controlling the vaccine narrative

In March, the federal government removed the latest vaccine injury court statistics—more than a year’s worth of data—from one of its publicly reported charts. It was an abrupt departure from the normal practice of updating the figures monthly.
Sharyl Attkisson, the investigative reporter who was banished from CBS for not towing the progressive party line or paying the proper homage to the O’Ministration, is wondering why the current statistics on vaccination side effects and lawsuits against manufacturers have gone missing… Government Wipes Recent Vaccine Injury Data from Website.
Wait – the most transparent administration ever couldn’t actually be trying to hide the facts on vaccination safety could they?
Wiping the latest data means the “adjudication” chart on a government website no longer reflects the recent, sharp rise in court victories for plaintiffs who claimed their children were seriously injured or killed by one or more vaccines.
Since January of 2014, twice as many victims have won court decisions than the previous eight years combined. In these court decisions, a judge ruled the evidence showed vaccines “more likely than not” caused the plaintiff’s injuries.
Both the number of victims and the compensation for injury claims are up significantly in just over a year, but when the facts get in the way of their agenda, the Left just conveniently ignores them. And journalists like Attkisson, with a penchant for objectivity, are ejected from the ranks of the mainstream media for simply attempting to report the truth.
As I was saying back in February, if only there were a vaccination for deceit.

While everyone’s talking about Bruce “Caitlyn” Jenner and his/her sad gender confusion, there’s another “Trans” phenomenon that’s even more disconcerting than the thought of an aging, former Olympian having himself castrated because he’s decided he’s rather be a female: Transhumanism, or, as Michael Snyder defines it – An Attempt To Use Technology To Turn Men Into Gods.
Essentially, Transhumanism would merge humans and technology. It’s a ~
… cultural and intellectual movement promoting the aim of transforming the human condition fundamentally by developing – and making available – technologies to enhance human intellectual, physical, and psychological capabilities. Transhumanist thinking studies the potential benefits and hazards of emerging technologies that could overcome basic human limitations. It also addresses ethical matters involved in developing and using such technologies. Some transhumanists predict that human beings may eventually transform themselves into beings with such greatly expanded abilities that they justify a state of being known as ‘posthuman’.
Yeah, that’ll end well don’t you think?
For Darwinians though, this is just the next “logical” step in human evolution. As Synder explains ~

Those that adhere to this philosophy believe that the time has come for us to use technology to take control of our own evolution. By doing so, they believe that we can give ourselves superhuman powers and radically extend our lifespans. […]

Kurzweil (The most famous transhumanist in the world) and his followers believe that a crucial turning point will be reached around the year 2030, when information technology achieves ‘genuine’ intelligence, at the same time as biotechnology enables a seamless union between us and this super-smart new technological environment. Ultimately the human-machine mind will become free to roam a universe of its own creation, uploading itself at will on to a “suitably powerful computational substrate”. We will become essentially god-like in our powers.
This yearning for power, knowledge, invincibility, this God-envy, has been part of human nature since the garden of Eden. You’d think we would have learned our lesson by now…

Obama channels his inner liberal Jew
Continuing his spiteful campaign against Israel’s prime minister, our slickster-in-chief was pandering to a liberal Jewish crowd last week in Washington D.C.. Speaking to the Adas Israel Congregation ~
Making references to Ramallah in one breath and Selma in the next, and sketching an ethical map that made the civil-rights movement and Palestinian nationalism interchangeable, the president implied that support for Netanyahu’s policies was tantamount to rejecting the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr..
It was Chemi Shalev, the U.S. editor of Haaretz, who best captured the essence of Obama’s May 22 message: “I represent your core values far better than the elected leader of Israel.”
Obama subtly implied…
… that many Jews – that is, Jews who support Benjamin Netanyahu – have indeed placed their narrow, ethnic interests above their commitment to universal humanistic values. In his view, they have betrayed those values. And so the warning was faint, but unmistakable: if Jews wish to avoid being branded as bigots, then they—you—must line up with him against Netanyahu.

President Obama’s speech to the Adas Israel Congregation must be seen for what it is. Nepal still reeling from quake
Nepal has been off the front page for the last couple of weeks, but the recovery and aid efforts continue. The April 25 earthquake (and a second one on May 12th) killed at least 5,000 people; injured 8,000; destroyed at least 480,000 houses and displaced 2.8 million people.
Samaritan’s Purse disaster response team has been on the ground in Nepal for weeks, providing emergency shelter, food, clean water, medical care, and meeting other urgent needs for victims of the terrible disaster ~
Please pray for those affected by this devastating quake and for the Samaritan Purse volunteers, working in the Name of Jesus, ministering to those who are suffering and reaching out with care, compassion, and the hope of Christ.

Ireland reverts to Godless paganism
How sad that it’s come to this ➡ Ireland Goes Gay; Yes vote to allow same-sex “marriage” triumphs. May 22nd, 2015: a date which shall live in infamy, at least for the Emerald Isle ~
The Yes vote has triumphed, making the Republic of Ireland the first nation in the world to open the institution of marriage through a plebiscite, not an act of a legislature or a court ruling, to members of the same sex.
Very simply, traditional marriage is the bedrock of Judeo-Christian civilization. And for the Irish to reject the institution is for them to return to their pagan roots. In a classic article – Why Judaism (and then Christianity) Rejected Homosexuality – Dennis Prager explains how God’s creation of – and His insistence on – an exclusive male/female union, forever altered the course of human history ~
It is probably impossible for us, who live thousands of years after Judaism began this process, to perceive the extent to which undisciplined sex can dominate man’s life and the life of society. Throughout the ancient world, and up to the recent past in many parts of the world, sexuality infused virtually all of society.
What marriage provided was a civilization-saving means to channel that unbridled sexual energy into a sanctified relationship between one man and one woman. But apparently, Ireland would rather return to the “good old days,” before they believed in God and His laws ~
Human sexuality, especially male sexuality, is polymorphous, or utterly wild (far more so than animal sexuality). Men have had sex with women and with men; with little girls and young boys; with a single partner and in large groups; with total strangers and immediate family members; and with a variety of domesticated animals.
They have achieved orgasm with inanimate objects such as leather, shoes, and other pieces of clothing, through urinating and defecating on each other (interested readers can see a photograph of the former at select art museums exhibiting the works of the photographer Robert Mapplethorpe); by dressing in women’s garments; by watching other human beings being tortured; by fondling children of either sex; by listening to a woman’s disembodied voice (e.g., “phone sex”); and, of course, by looking at pictures of bodies or parts of bodies. There is little, animate or inanimate, that has not excited some men to orgasm.
Of course, not all of these practices have been condoned by societies — parent-child incest and seducing another’s man’s wife have rarely been countenanced — but many have, and all illustrate what the unchanneled, or in Freudian terms, the “un-sublimated,” sex drive can lead to.

As Dennis Prager rightly concludes, Judaism (and by extension, Christianity)…
…cannot make peace with homosexuality because homosexuality denies many of Judaism’s most fundamental principles. It denies life, it denies God’s expressed desire that men and women cohabit, and it denies the root structure that Judaism wishes for all mankind, the family.
Essentially then, the Irish have now chosen to deny life, family… and God.

Donal McKeown of Derry said Catholics could vote in good conscience either for or against gay marriage, as long as it was with an “informed conscience” and a “mature decision.” Laying aside the fact that no one with a truly informed conscience could ever make the “mature decision” to vote in favor of legalized sodomy, when confronted with this irresponsible remark McKeown neither apologized nor recanted; instead, he deflected responsibility by claiming his words should be read in the context of his entire talk. (This is the same bishop who several years ago chastised pro-lifers for their vigorous defense of life, and claimed the Church could not inform the State on the issue of so-called gay marriage.)[…]

I cannot tell you what heaven is like, obviously, but I can tell you that it is so far beyond anything we can possibly imagine here on earth that God Himself became incarnate and suffered and died for our sins so that we might have a chance at it.

Our current leaders are manifestly unworthy of those they lead. So this Memorial Day, let’s ignore the opportunists and frauds who seek to clothe themselves in the glory of better men and women. Instead, let’s remember the men and women who died for this country and its Constitution. And let’s remember what it was like to have a real president.
